When the owner of Copenhagen’s well-known café chain Ø12 approached Aspekt Office, the goal was clear: create a space that felt different. The result is a thoughtful redesign where tactile materials, curated atmospheres, and carefully defined zones support multiple purposes throughout the entire day.
The design balances efficiency and comfort, drawing inspiration from Nordic tradition to create an interior that feels calm yet rich in detail. Seating options are deliberately varied — from benches and tables to bar seating and elevated platforms — encouraging different ways of working, resting, and gathering. The result is a cohesive environment that naturally adapts to the rhythm of the day, supporting everything from quiet mornings to lively afternoons.
As part of the redesign, the F Chair was thoughtfully selected for its balance of functionality and refined character. Its sculptural silhouette and crafted wooden frame complement the café’s tactile materiality, while its comfort makes it ideal for long stays — whether guests are working, meeting, or simply enjoying a moment alone.
