Karm Sofa

Originally designed for the lounge of Noma restaurant in Copenhagen, the Karm Sofa blends Scandinavian 1970s aesthetics with elegant minimalist lines, resulting in a design that feels both nostalgic and contemporary. Drawing inspiration from Donald Judd, the design celebrates the natural beauty of wood and a sense of honesty and simplicity.

Timeless Comfort

The Karm Sofa is a sophisticated yet calming design, created for lounge environments where comfort and presence are equally important. Available in one, twoand-a-half, and three-seater versions, the collection offers flexibility across residential, hospitality, and professional settings.

Crafted Detail

Crafted from specially selected thick and characteristic large oak planks, the sofa showcases visible wedge joints that are artfully integrated into the construction. These signature details—visible on both sides—highlight the remarkable craftsmanship of Brdr. Krüger, balancing structure, comfort, and refined minimalism.

Designed by David Thulstrup

“The design concept is based on a sense of Scandinavian locality yet avoids clichés. The clean, sharp and modern lines of the piece make it reminiscent of 1970s Danish design.”

David Thulstrup is known for its holistic approach to architecture, interiors, and furniture design, combining Scandinavian heritage with modern simplicity and precision.
