Mokuba

Mokuba, meaning rocking horse in Japanese, is the brainchild of the Japanese Danish design duo O&M Design. Rooted in the traditions of Danish craftsmanship and shaped by Japanese design philosophy, Mokuba reflects a shared respect for material, form, and cultural heritage.

Thoughtful Details

With its delicate expression and friendly appeal, Mokuba is designed to be both playful and serene. Crafted from the finest quality beech wood, the rocking horse carries a soft, tactile presence. The tail, made of vegetable tanned leather, adds a subtle contrast and highlights the careful attention to detail that defines the design.

Designed by O&M Design

O&M Design is driven by the dialogue between cultures. Their work is guided by a desire to combine the traditions of Danish craftsmanship with Japanese design philosophy and techniques, creating objects that feel both timeless and quietly contemporary. More about O&M Design.
