The Material Heritage
The handcrafted cushions, custom-contoured for the ARV Chair by David Thulstrup, offer comfort and durability, providing extra comfort to the chair’s paper cord seating. Crafted from SPECTRUM® leather by Danish Sørensen, a premium semi-aniline leather celebrated for its soft, matte finish and natural full-grain texture, the cushions provide a tactile experience that only improves with age. The appearance may vary slightly due to the use of natural materials.

The SPECTRUM® leather features a protective finish that resists stains and light exposure, while the discreet non-slip backing ensures the cushion stays perfectly positioned. Sustainably minded and health-conscious, the leather we source is OEKO-TEX® certified and holds the Blue Angel Ecolabel, ensuring a PFAS-free addition combining heritage with the environment.
