Order
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders, order confirmations, invoices, and deliveries made by Brdr. Krüger, unless otherwise agreed in writing. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms in full.
Orders can be placed:
- Online at www.brdr-kruger.com
- By email at info@brdr-kruger.dk
To place an order, the customer must be authorised to use the chosen payment method and accept these Terms & Conditions. Orders are not binding until Brdr. Krüger issues a written Order Confirmation (OC).
Confirmation
An order becomes legally binding only once the customer has received an official Order Confirmation specifying the products, pricing, lead time, and delivery method.
Cancellation
Cancellation within 0–5 days of the OC: no fee
Cancellation after 5 days: 15% fee (RRP excl. VAT)
Custom-made or customised items are non-cancellable
Additional terms and conditions will be provided for custom orders.
For customised products (special finishes, COM/COL, colours, upholstery, etc.), all details must be approved in writing prior to production.
Delivery
Delivery is made according to the method stated in the Order Confirmation.
Delivery for Web Orders
Web orders within Denmark are shipped by courier to the nearest parcel shop associated with the customer’s address. The customer will be notified directly by the courier when the order is ready for pickup.
International web orders are shipped by our freight forwarder and delivered curbside to the delivery address provided by the customer. Delivery does not include indoor carrying, installation, or assembly.
Any applicable customs duties, local taxes, or import fees for international deliveries are the responsibility of the customer.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and may vary depending on destination and carrier. If delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or if the customer is unavailable, any additional costs incurred will be charged to the customer.
Ex Works
For items sold Ex Works, the customer is responsible for collecting the goods from Brdr. Krüger’s workshop and for arranging all transport, insurance, and related costs.
If the goods are not collected within the agreed period, a storage fee of 20 DKK / 3€ per package per day will be charged.
Shipment by Brdr. Krüger
Upon request, Brdr. Krüger can arrange shipment through our trusted freight partners.
All shipments arranged by Brdr. Krüger are sent under DAP Incoterms.
Goods are shipped on a pallet unless the item is small enough to be shipped as a parcel.
Pallet dimensions are stated on the invoice.
Once the shipment has been dispatched, Brdr. Krüger will confirm shipment and issue the invoice, which also serves as notification that the goods have left our facility.
After collection, the freight forwarder will contact the customer directly to coordinate delivery details.
The customer will receive a tracking link and delivery updates from the forwarder.
Transit times and delivery arrangements are managed by the freight forwarder and not by Brdr. Krüger.
All deliveries are made curbside only.
The goods will be left at the curb at the delivery address and will not be carried indoors.
Any delivery restrictions or special requirements must be communicated by the customer in advance.
Additional delivery services (e.g. white-glove service, indoor delivery, timed delivery) are subject to availability and additional costs.
Freight & Transport Damage
Upon delivery, please carefully inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt.
Inspect the packaging for visible damage (e.g. dents, tears, moisture, cuts, damaged pallets).
Verify that the number of parcels and/or pallets corresponds with the delivery documents.
If any damage or discrepancies are found, either refuse the delivery or sign with reservation.
Ask the driver to clearly note the damage on the delivery receipt (e.g. “torn box”, “broken pallet”, “damaged corner”), including date, time, and signature.
Visible Damage
All visible damage must be recorded on the delivery documents at the time of delivery and supported by clear photographs. Without proper documentation, freight companies typically refuse to accept damage claims or provide compensation.
Hidden Damage
Any damage that is not visible at the time of delivery must be reported to Brdr. Krüger in writing within 7 days of receipt, accompanied by photographic documentation of both the product and the packaging.
Claims reported after this period may not be accepted by the freight carrier.
Shipments from Reseller to End Customer
Brdr. Krüger does not cover transport damage that occurs after the goods have left our warehouse or during transport arranged by resellers or third parties.
We recommend that goods are forwarded in their original packaging and, where possible, shipped on pallets to minimize the risk of damage.
Claims
All claims must be submitted in writing and include the following information:
- A clear description of the issue
- Overall and detailed photographs of the product and the reported issue
- Product identification, including label, order number, invoice number, and/or delivery note
Brdr. Krüger reserves the right to assess all claims before any resolution is offered.
If a claim is accepted, Brdr. Krüger will, at its discretion, either: Replace the item or professionally repair the defect.
Where appropriate, a price reduction or financial compensation may be offered as an alternative solution.
If the issue cannot be adequately assessed based on the information and photographs provided, the item may be required to be returned for inspection.
In such cases, return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Claims will not be accepted for damage or defects resulting from incorrect cleaning, improper use, unsuitable cleaning agents, modifications, or lack of proper maintenance.
